At first or second glance, the interactive wall sculpture Poly seems to be a “rhythm” piece. But the variety of types of rings available for play actually allows for more complex relationships and views within the work’s structure, hence its name. Although my musical background may have played a role in its conception, I tend to see a variety of rhythmic and other relationships across nature that more deeply inspire my visual creativity.
