Artist talk tonight 4/20 at the Wellesley Hills Library

A couple of fun ceramic things on the docket for me this week! First on Thursday evening, I have been invited to give a talk about my work at the Wellesley Hills Public Library. Will be bringing a slide presentation as well as some work samples. Stop by if you're in the area! (Their write-up is below.)
Then on Friday 4/22, two of my sculptures are included in a national show that opens on the South Shore. (Details to come...)

Hills Hearthside Series: Artists' Perspectives

A series of hearth-side talks by local artists and artisans. Tonight, meet ceramic artist Suzanne Stumpf. Stumpf has received national recognition for both her sculptural and functional ceramic creations, including being named a 2013 Niche Award Finalist. Much of her work is multi-component, interactive sculpture. Her work has been included in numerous national and international juried art and ceramics shows from across the US to Bucharest, Hungary, including five times at the National Prize Art Show in Cambridge, MA, three times at the Potters Council International Show (at NCECA), and at an invitational exhibition at the Fuller Craft Museum (2015).
