Egg Shell Nest
Eggshell Nest was inspired by creativity found in nature—animals are often incredibly resourceful with materials they use for nests. I enjoyed the humor/irony of the concept of a large “used” eggshell serving as home for new life for others. In this sculpture, the “nest” holds multiple partial shells, suggesting (optimistically) a successful brood.
